The green glass crate is for recycling glass bottles and jars. All recycling must be clean of food scraps and loose, not bagged. The yellow recycling bin is for recycling hard rigid plastic (grades 1, 2 and 5), cardboard, paper, tins and metal cans. The red rubbish bin is for everything that is not recyclable, including household and organic waste. All remaining collection days that week will also be picked up the day after their usual collection day.įor example, if Christmas Day is on a Tuesday, Tuesday's collection is picked up on Wednesday, Wednesday's collection is picked up on Thursday, Thursday's collection is picked up on Friday and Friday's collection is picked up on Saturday.
